Case Study: Unemployment Systems

Public Sector  .NET
Problem
The client is one of the US states' Department of Labor, who has an existing public web application used by its residents to file and manage claims related to periods of unemployment. They were seeking a new consulting partner to take ownership of ongoing enhancements, including upgrading things to newer technologies.

Solution
SwitchLane was selected to take ownership of this application and partnered on the project with Diamond Technologies. We work with the client continually to plan releases, implement them and then provide ongoing support for what we built.

Results
The first release of enhancements went live in 2014 and there have been minimal support issues. We supported it in "maintenance mode" for a period of time and are now working on another new release that is slated to launch later this year.

Client Quote
“We have leveraged SwitchLane’s development resources for two significant projects over the last 12 months. From our perspective, SwitchLane’s team provides high quality enterprise application development capabilities, and has met (or exceeded) all deliverable expectations. The two projects were in support of custom application solutions for a large state agency, as well as a state police department. Both solutions have been successfully deployed to production and are in use by live end users.”
